It teaches you self reliance,it teaches you to do things you have never done before,it teaches you to adapt to the weather,deal with the bugs,it teaches you survival.
That will come in handy someday.
My dad,his friends and I are always camping.If one day there was an zombie out break,then we would be ready.
So until you go outside and camp in a forest,and not your front yard,you will see it isnt for sissies.
