Just click the [-] button located top left of it, you can hide the widget for as long as you want and still switch pages with it hidden, and if u want to see it again you just have to press the [+] button

already tried,a nd it fux up the sexiness of the site, sorry, im gonna try to add the button to the actuall widget later, and also add a dropdown menu that allows u to select the # of latest posts that u want to show, im getting Zero to helo me with all this shit tomarrow.
